Privacy policy
1. Data controller
RetsSprog is a platform for independent interpreters and translators – not a company. The data controller is the interpreter who handles your enquiry or carries out your assignment:
Nils Anker Rump, Nikolaj Plads 34, 1067 København K, Denmark
Marzenna Halina Rump, Nikolaj Plads 34, 1067 København K, Denmark
Shared contact: info@retssprog.dk, phone +45 31 100 110. Enquiries sent here are received by the interpreters on the platform.
2. Visiting the website
The website does not use cookies, tracking or analytics tools and does not load fonts or scripts from third parties. The hosting provider may record technical information (IP address, time, browser) in log files for security reasons.
3. Enquiries via form, email and phone
When you contact RetsSprog, the information you provide (name, company if any, mobile number and/or email, details of the assignment – e.g. date, place and document type – as well as your message and any documents) is processed solely to respond to your enquiry and carry out any assignment. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Enquiries via the contact form are sent as email via the web host that hosts the website to info@retssprog.dk. Attached documents are sent as attachments to the email and are not stored on the website. If you have provided your email address, a receipt with the details you entered is sent to you at the same time. The web host processes the information as a data processor. To protect against spam, the sender's IP address is recorded briefly (for no more than one hour) and appears in the email we receive.
4. Confidentiality
Information and documents received in connection with an assignment are treated confidentially and used solely to carry out the assignment. They are not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to carry out the assignment or required by law. A separate confidentiality agreement can be made by arrangement – download our standard confidentiality agreement (PDF, in Danish with an English summary).
5. Storage
The information is deleted once the enquiry or assignment has been completed, unless legislation – e.g. tax rules on documentation of income – requires it to be kept for longer.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
This is a translation of the Danish privacy policy. In case of any discrepancy, the Danish version applies.
